About Us

ACATA started in 2013 as a way for schools in the Virginia area to come together and practice Taekwondo. In the decade that has followed, ACATA has grown into the largest collegiate Taekwondo leagues in the mid-eastern United States. Led by a group of former collegiate Taekwondo athletes, our goal has been to provide opportunities for collegiate Taekwondo clubs to compete, train, and meet each other. Every year, ACATA hosts multiple competitions, seminars, and other events. ACATA is also an official regional partner of the National Collegiate Taekwondo Association (NCTA).
